A large integrated resort containing a casino could therefore fit naturally into the type of luxury tourism experience for which Dubai is already known. On the other hand, commercial gaming remains a carefully regulated and culturally sensitive subject in the UAE.
For that reason, it is better to distinguish between Dubai's obvious potential as an integrated-resort destination and the actual regulatory situation. At present, Casinos in Dubai remain a future possibility rather than a current reality.
What Could a Future Dubai Casino Look Like?
If a licensed casino were eventually approved in Dubai, the experience would likely be very different from a small traditional gambling hall. The model emerging in the UAE is centred on integrated resorts in which gaming forms one part of a much larger hospitality and entertainment destination.

What About Online Casinos in Dubai?
